Most people these days are condemned to living with small bathrooms, which are clogged with all the various fixtures and accessories which they’ve been meant to contain. There needs to be enough room for the sink, the toilet, the shower, the bathtub, as well as the vanity and all the various little hygienic necessities which you need to keep in your restroom for obvious reasons. Many people come to the conclusion that the most efficient way to create some space and organization in a bathroom is to integrate a small storage cabinet in it, for all the little things which make a mess out of your personal little sanctuary. It’s especially practical because of it’s little size, which makes it possible to install it in pretty much any corner of the room, making it practically invisible.
When it comes to decorating a small bathroom, many challenges can arise along the way, such as the lack of space to manoeuver or to install the desired accessories. For this reason, you first need to make sure that the cabinet will fit wherever you want to install it, and that it doesn’t interfere with any of your other plans, if you have any. You should paint or stain your cabinet in some type of light texture, which will give the room the appearance of being larger. Also if you can, try to install it mounted on a wall, for the more space you have on the floor, the bigger the room will feel. Maybe you could also take this chance to enhance the looks of your restroom by making some kind of special design on this cabinet, perhaps themed in accordance to the rest of your washroom.
The only downside to having a small storage cabinet, is that naturally, it can run out of storage space pretty fast, making it convenient only for small bathrooms where bigger cabinets are simply out of the equation.
